Michelle Glavan (Gla-ven)

While her sister claims she was an accident, Michelle was nonetheless born in Portland, Oregon. After briefly living in Ohio and Pennsylvania, her family eventually settled in Birmingham, Alabama, where Michelle did most of her growing up. From fourth grade until the end of high school, Michelle resided in the suburbs of Birmingham, developing a slight drawl as well as southern manners. Shortly after arriving, her best friend persuaded her to try theater. This is when her love for musicals and the stage began.

During high school, she mistakably veered away from acting, pursuing soccer, cheerleading, student government, and all those other things guidance counselors tell you are important. While they helped her get into a great college (UCLA), she decided her heart/gut/brain (or whatever organ controls decision making) was telling her to return to acting. Now, she lives in Los Angeles with her roommate Bubba, who is also an actor of the canine variety.

Michelle currently studies with the wildly fantastic Lesly Kahn and writes/produces comedy sketches in her spare time. To gain more insight about the industry, she also interns at 2 casting offices. Her other hobbies include: soccer, hiking with Bubba, writing music, knitting, and exercising. She also has a fabulous singing voice.

While she has done numerous webisodes, student projects and plays, Michelle is eager to break into film and television. Her fans liken her to a young Reese Witherspoon or Meg Ryan, who can swing a bat and steal your heart!
